ABOUT US
Cheergyms.com was first formed
in October of 1995 (then known as Pyramids, Inc.) beginning as a single
gym in Concord and run by current owners Morton Bergue and Danny Kahn, as
well as then owner, Patricia Relth. Pyramids spent the next several years
running summer camps and clinics, training cheerleaders and tumblers with
their recreational program, coaching local schools and running the most
successful and longest running All Star Cheerleading program in
California. During this time, Bergue and Kahn bought out their business
partner Relth to become sole owners of Pyramids, Inc.
With the hugely successful Pyramids running so well, Bergue and Kahn
decided to expand their business. In the Spring of 2001, they started 2
more All Star programs; 720 out of Lodi and Motions out of San Jose. At
the same time, Bergue and Kahn changed their business name from Pyramids,
Inc. to cheergyms.com, Inc. At one point, cheergyms.com was running 7
different cheerleading gyms, hosting several cheerleading competitions and
running cheerleading camps all throughout California.
Currently, cheergyms.com runs two cheerleading gyms which trains local
cheerleaders, school teams, youth football teams and hosts two of the most
successful All Star teams in California. Cheergyms.com runs several camps
that are rapidly becoming favorites amongst cheerleading teams in
California and also hosts the Spirit Spectacular competitions; Northern
California's largest and most popular competitions.
With its hugely successful All Star program, recreational tumbling classes
and private lessons, and the training done at its two gyms cheergyms.com
has become one of the most elite and highly recognized program in the
United States!
